I was employed as a freelance designer for Waitrose Weekend magazine, and my brief for the spread was to create and lay out a number of Easter themed puzzles for children using the Waitrose Weekend characters. I was provided with a brief synopsis of each character and then I based the puzzles around them. I created a colour palette for the spread also using the characters for inspiration.
