Shooting Times & Country Magazine is a weekly publication that celebrates countryside pursuits and conservation. 

As much of the content lacks strong illustrations or photos, the challenge was to create layouts that engaged readers and kept them coming back for more.

This was achieved by working closely with picture editors to source the best possible photographs, and experimenting with new fonts and layouts to give this heritage magazine a fresh new look.

The design challenge was doubled as the magazine is weekly. This meant all work had to be planned and commissioned weeks in advance, and it was essential to be flexible and replace features when last minute news stories broke.
