This was a one off publication produced to provide concise and accessible operational and loss prevention guidance in relation to hatch covers and the delivery of cargo in a dry and sound condition. The challenge with this publication was to present this technical information in as clear a way as possible and to ensure relative images were next to the correct part of the text so the reader could be led seamlessly from the text to the illustration of that text. That was essential as it is a very complex subject. Also, translating the hand drawn diagrams into useful illustrations was challenging.
